Focus – Hocus Pocus

Inspired Dutch lunacy from Thijs van Leer.  Jan Akkerman and the rest of Focus, with a 1973 live version of their barmier than a badger’s stag-do track, ‘Hocus Pocus’.

Taken from the 1971 album Moving Waves, this version of the prog rockers’ classic is inexplicably speeded up in places, but it doesn’t lose any of its Tull-esque madness.

One that’s sure to be highly placed in the soon to be announced Head Full of Snow Top 50.
